Our stables are nestled conveniently between the campground and the luxury adults-only glamping area (see map for details). Whether you’re a first-timer or a confident rider, our horse riding experiences offer a memorable way to explore the beautiful Turon bushland.
Ride Options:
Lead-Around Rides
Perfect for children aged 3 and up, or anyone who prefers a gentle introduction to horseback riding. These short, guided rides allow you to enjoy the magic of being on a horse without venturing far from the stables.
Scenic Trail Rides
Designed for ages 10 and over, these guided rides take small groups (maximum 4 riders) through breathtaking countryside. It’s a peaceful and immersive way to connect with nature and experience the land from a different perspective.
Important Notes:
Children aged 10 to 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (18+).
Children aged 14 and over may join a trail ride without a guardian.

Horse riding is one of our most popular activities, so advance bookings are strongly recommended. You can either reserve your horse riding online at the time of booking your accommodation, or call our friendly reservations team. If you book online and you’re planning to arrive within the next 48 hours, please call us directly after booking online – even if a time slot appears available. This helps ensure our horse riding team is scheduled and ready to guide your ride.

How do I book horse riding / pony rides?
Horse riding is best booked in advance to ensure you don’t miss out!

How long are the rides during the school term?
We offer 3 types of sessions during school term:
- Saturdays – 75min Scenic Horse Riding Experience
- Sundays & Weekdays – 90min Scenic Horse Riding Experience
- By request – 15min lead around ride / pony ride

During school holidays rides are:
- 75min Scenic Horse Riding Experience
- 15min lead around ride / pony ride
How many people can go?
Our sessions are capped at 4 riders to ensure the best and safest experience. We do not accept more than 4 riders. If you are a group of 5 or more, you will need to split up into two sessions.
What is the age requirement for horse riding?
Children aged 3 years old and up may go on a pony / lead around ride.
There is no age limit for a lead around ride, if you have never ridden before and are nervous about doing one of our longer rides feel free to ask for a lead around ride. It’s not just for kids!
The scenic ride is restricted to ages 10 years old and up.
Do I have to go with my child on their ride?
If the rider is under 14 years old, an adult / guardian ver 18 must accompany them.
Riders 14 years and older may go unaccompanied.
Can I ride with my child on the same horse?
For the safety of our guests and our horses only 1 rider is permitted per horse.
